Appreciate Life

This made me think about times when I have had a bad day and there was the person that reached out their hand to help me. I started Dust & Spur Auctioneering to be a company that someone is able to call in a time of great need and on your worst hour.
Tip of the week: Appreciate life, and you'll find that you have more of it.
Our Most Memorable Event

| Shelly |
The beautiful woman in this photo is Shelly Raimer. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in March of 2003 and has been fighting since that day. She has had some very scary moments but she has always pulled through. I meet Shelly about a year ago, she is a positive, uplifting, and strong woman who is a mother of three and I have grow to think of her as part of my own family. These are just a few reason why Shelly is our all star of the month.
Dust & Spur Auctioneering is holding an event for Shelly to help her and her family. We will be having an auction and dinner on November 3rd in Hayward WI. All proceeds will go to Shelly and her family. If you would like to attend and help out this wonderful woman. Get your tickets at here.
Tip of the week: Make it a habit to tell people thank you. To express your appreciation, sincerely and without the expectation of anything in return.

Tip of the Week: Go for a 10 minute walk, before reacting to a negative or challenging situation. This will give you a chance to fully think this through it before making a decision.

Our Back Story

| Source |
I have grew up in Waumandee, Wisconsin which is where the red dot is on the map. Waumandee is a town of 427 people, as of 2010 census, this area is known for it's huge white tail deer, dairy farms, and rolling hills. I lived there with my older sister, who is ten years older than me, and our parents. With my very busy family.
My family was always busy. We always had some where to be and at least three events to go to every weekend. I had a great childhood, I was a avid horse rider and I fell in love with cheerleading when I got into high school.
The reason I am telling you is because when I was 9 years old my mom got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and this was something that changed all of us in family. Not only did my mom have a disease and she had to change her way her of living but this was a financial burden my family was not ready for. My parents got through it like they always had but it made me wonder about others that have unexpected events like this happen to them. This is why I started Dust & Spur Auctioneering to give to those who need it most within our community as well as help whom ever I can.
